Caithness RFC vs Berwick (22-17)
Caithness RFC beat Berwick 22-17 in the semi-final of the RBS National Shield at Millbank in front of a record crowd. The Greens were 22-3 up midway through the 2nd half before Berwick staged a comeback that was just too late.
The final is vs Preston Lodge on 19th April at Clyde FC's ground, Broadwood Stadium, Cumbernauld.

The Scottish Surfing Championships were held today at Thurso East and Brims Ness. It was a 6am start at Thurso East (I made it for 6.30am) and the contest went on hold at 11.30am. It restarted at 5pm at Brims Ness with the semi-finals and final of the Open and the final of the seniors.
It got too dull for pics of the two finals, which took place at 6pm and 6.30pm.

Scottish Surfing Championships - practice day
The 2014 Scottish Surfing Championships are being held on Saturday (29th March). A few surfers had a practice session at Thurso East today.
Wick Academy v Brora Rangers (0-1)
Brora Rangers beat Wick Academy 1-0 at Harmsworth Park on Wed night. Brora won a penalty with 8 mins left and captain Steven MacKay slotted it calmly home. Brora only need 4 points from the last 5 games to win the league.
