The happy winners - Golspie Sutherland
Golspie Sutherland beat Thurso 2-1 after extra time to win the Football Times cup at a misty Morrison Park, Halkirk.  Golspie's Alan Larnach scored mid-way through the 2nd half with a back post header to make it 1-0. Jordan Sutherland gave away a penalty with a lunge at James Murray and was promptly sent off. Colin Sinclair scored the penalty to make it 1-1.

In extra time, Thurso goalkeeper Connor Jackson couldn't hold a shot and it spilled into the path of Alan Larnach who tapped it home. Thurso sub Owen Harrold thought he scored when the Golspie keeper dropped a cross ball at his feet, but his shot from 5 yards was blocked on the line by Alan Larnach. Larnach was the man of the match.
