Wick Groats vs Pentland Utd Highland Amateur Cup semi-final 10/8/19 (2-2 aet , 5-3 pens)

A cracking Highland Amateur Cup semi-final match between local rivals Wick Groats and Pentland Utd at Castletown. Groats went 2 up in the first half and Pentland then dominated the 2nd half with James Murray scoring mid way through. United equalised in dramatic fashion in the 8th minute of added time. Graeme Williamson dropped a high cross ball and Shaun Forbes headed home. After a quiet extra time, Groats won 5-3 on penalties, with James Maclean seeing his shot saved by Graeme Williamson.

Groats went one nil up in first half via Stewart Ross and could have scored a few more. Two more goals early in 2nd half finished the game. Utd scored consolation goal in the last minute after some pressure.
