Porsche Cayman

Went to Dunnet Head to take some pics of a Porsche Cayman, but the weather closed in as soon as we got there. Used two off-camera flashguns to make the best of the misty, dull and grey conditions.

I have a BMW Coupe and an Aston Martin DB9 lined up for pics in the coming week or two.

Caithness Cycling Racing weekend

Caithness Cycling Club held its second racing weekend of the season with a race on Saturday (25 mile time trial) and two races on Sunday (10 mile TT and 11 mile hilly TT). I caught Sunday's 10 mile TT at the turning point near the A9's Georgemas junction.

Rather than standing at the roadside, I stood in the nearby field and used my telephoto 70-200mm lens for a change. There were lots of cyclists from outwith the County.

Check out the race results on;

Great weather at the Caithness County Show today, despite a rainy start. Lots of request photos and the Wick river made a great backdrop.

Caithness Show - Show Jumping

I caught the junior show jumping at the Caithness County Show today, before having to travel back home.

 The weather for the working hunter competition at the Caithness County show was perfect for a change.  It started at 1pm and finished at 6pm. Went home before the show jumping got underway at 7.30pm. However, I got some show jumping pics from the Saturday competition and will post these later.

Thurso Acks vs Wick Groats

I caught the first half of the cup match between Thurso Acks and Wick Groats tonight. The Acks were winning 2-0 at half time. Groats seemed to be off the boil after their cup win on Saturday.
