52 Club Weekend

Thurso & District Round Table No. 1052 hosted the annual 52 Club weekend on Friday & Saturday, with 40 past and present Tablers travelling from Scotland, England, Wales, Ireland and Belgium for the prestigious event.  The club had the honour of the presence of National President Dave Barker.

The formal dinner attended by nearly 60, was held in the Pentland Hotel on Saturday night and guest speaker was local Councillor Willie MacKay, MBE from Watten. Music was provided by the Thurso & District Strathspey & Reel Society, led by George Pain.

I tested my new camera by avoiding the use of flash for most photos and just captured the natural light by increasing the ISO setting to 2,000 to get a reasonable shutter speed.
