Caithness RFC beat Strathmore 26-12 at a muddy Millbank today. It was sunny at the start but rained midway through the first half and was dull for most of the 2nd half. The Greens scored 3 tries in the first half and led 23-5 at half-time. Caithness were camped on the Strathmore try line for long spells in the 2nd half but could not cross over. A 4th try was scored but not given as the ref didn't see it being grounded under a heap of players. Try scorer Blair MacIntosh was the Caithness man of the match.

The smart new pavilion was open for the first time today.
