Halkirk Utd beat Sutherland Utd 4-2 at Morrison Park yesterday. Sutherland were short and fielded 6 trialists and had only one sub.

Marc Gunn scored first with a tap in after Ryan Renwick had parried a shot. Marc scored a cracking 2nd goal with a low shot into the far corner from a tight angle. Martin Sutherland fired in a cross which was turned into his own goal by Gary MacKenzie. 3 nil at half-time.

Grant MacNab scored a 4th early in the 2nd half. Gordy MacNab got sent off after an off-the-ball-altercation and Sutherland Utd took full advantage. They scored two and had chances to score 2 or 3 more. Daniel Budge had two good saves and there was some poor finishing.

Thurso lost 1-0 in Orkney.
Wick Academy beat Keith 4-0
Caithness RFC lost 41-37 away to Ellon
