Halkirk played Staxigoe Utd this evening in Div 1 of the Caithness league. In a hard fought match, Staxigoe came out on top by 2 goals to 1.
Staxigoe's Colin Sinclair scored with a header early in the 2nd half and Luke Sawyer extended the lead with a spectacular 30 yard shot/cross which looped over the out stretched hand of Lee Allan (see pic 7)
Lee Elder scored a great goal late in the game (see pic 4) which curled into the top corner.
