The Caithness Riding Club held its annual summer (!) show at Bylbtser today. It was postponed from June due to the rain and it was nearly postponed again. It rained during the night and during the whole show, apart from 45 mins when the midges came out and attacked everyone. The ground was a huge wet quagmire in places. Most cars with trailers struggled to get out of the exit gate, even with the ponies removed.

Entries seemed to be lightly down and the show finished very early at 1.30pm. Not the best of days for taking photos and I didn't get as many as usual - very hard to keep the camera and lens dry.
