Ex Caithness player Blair McIntosh gets hauled down
Caithness lost 16-22 against Aberdeenshire today at Millbank. Shire had the wind behind them in the first half and stormed into a 15-0 lead at half-time. There was a mass fight near the end of the half but nobody was punished.

The half-time talk by Colin Sangster worked a treat and within 5 minutes the Greens scored a penalty and a converted try (Lorne McNicol). Shire had a player booked for a deliberate foul, but Caithness could not capitalise any further. Liam Brims was carried off with a nasty leg injury. It was 13-15 with 5 minutes left and ex Caithness player Blair McIntosh scored a try to win the match. Gary MacKay scored with a penalty with the last kick to secure a losing bonus point.
