Thurso lost 4-0 to Brora Rangers in the North of Scotland cup last night at the Dammies. Thurso goalkeeper Lee Kirk had some fantastic saves to keep the score down.

Sarah Henderson from Watten, Caithness, competed for Scotland in the 2014 Commonwealth Games at the small-bore rifle shooting and won 7th place in the 50m prone and 11th place in the 50m 3P event.

John Paul, who was born and brought up in Lybster, Caithness, competed for Scotland in the 2014 Commonwealth Games and won 11th place in the Keirin event.
