Caithness RFC U18s Ladies played Murrayfield Wanderers in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup and just lost out 10-26 to the reigning champions, who have 8 players in the Scottish national squad. The young greens played a blinder in the first half and scored 2 tries (Jade Sinclair and Caitlin Harvey), the same as the Wanderers, but trailed 14-10 at half-time.
Caithness were under the cosh for the whole of the 2nd half, but only conceded 2 more tries with some brilliant defending. Caithness play at BT Murrayfield this Friday in the 3rd and 4th place play-off.
