Orkney vs Invergordon Ness Cup Final (3-2)

Chris Helliwell scores his first

Chris Helliwell rounds Stephen Campbell to score his 3rd

The Ness cup final between Orkney and Invergordon was switched to Morrison Park, Halkirk at the last minute due to damage to the goalposts. A strong wind blew down the pitch from the north and it played a big part in the game. With the wind behind them, Orkney stormed into a 3-0 lead thanks to a hat-trick by centre forward Chris Helliwell. Invergordon took full advantage of the wind in the 2nd half and scored 2 goals and nearly equalised in the dying minutes.

Orkney won 3-2. Chris Helliwell was man of the match.
