The Caithness Exiles beat Caithness 23-22 with a last gasp penalty from man of the match Liam Brims (Falkirk RFC). The match was entertaining and hard fought with crunching tackles and some fisticuffs for good measure. The Greens had most of the ball in the 1st half but could not get the points apart from a try by Hamish Coghill. Liam Brims waltzed through the Greens defence to score a try and also converted, to give the exiles a 7-5 half-time lead.
The exiles went 20-10 up, but Caithness roared back to take the lead 22-20. Brims scored the winning penalty with 1 min left. Eilidh Cadzow presented the Sinclair Cadzow Memorial Trophy to Brims.
