Thurso lost 2-1 to Golspie on a very soft Dammies pitch. The players were sliding and slipping all over the place. Golspie, with lots of Caithness based players, took the lead early on and could have been 3 up by half-time. Golspie increased their lead early in the 2nd half and looked comfortable. Thurso slowly got into the game and Steven Morris scored with a looping header with 15 mins left. Lots of pressure at the end came to nothing.
The tackling was hard and there were plenty of yellow cards flashed. Thurso used all 5 subs to cover for injuries. Jack Fidler suffered a bad knee injury near the end, due to a studs up sliding tackle.
