Halkirk equalised with the last action of the game to deny Thurso 3 points in a league game at Morrison Park. Halkirk played the first half with a breeze behind them and dominated the half. Marc Gunn scored with a freekick to go in a half-time 1-0 up.
Thurso outplayed Halkirk in the 2nd half and Andrew Mackay scored a cracking goal from a tight angle after beating the Halkirk defence with a 60 yard dazzling run. James Maclean scored a header to make it 2-1. Halkirk won a freekick in the last minute and Ross Macadie somehow squeezed the ball over the line with a header at the far post.
