John O'Groats beat Staxigoe Utd 2-1 after extra time in Watten in the Eain Mackintosh memorial cup. A match with very little goalmouth action. Kevin Swanson scored early in the 2nd half for Groats and Colin Sinclair equalised late on with a powerful header. Jimmy Budge got the winner in extra time.
