| Jimmy Budge scores 3rd goal |
I was last at Watten football park in April 2016 and it was only 3 degrees and chucking hailstones. Today it was 25 degrees and the game was stopped a few times for essential water breaks! I arrived at half-time and John O'Groats were leading Kirkwall Hotspur 2-1 in the last 32 of the Highland Amateur cup.
The 2nd half produced very few chances, but Jimmy Budge pounced and lashed a shot from 12 yards past the Hotspur goalkeeper who never moved. The ground was rock hard and a few sore knocks were taken by players on both sides. The game finished 3-1.
