Wick Groats beat Staxigoe Utd 5-4 on penalties to win the Eann MacKintosh cup today in front of a large crowd in Halkirk. Both defences were on top throughout the match and it was 0-0 at full time. Groats scored with 4 mins left of extra time and Colin Davidson equalised with a cracking shot from 25 yards that went over the head of Graeme Williamson and dropped into the far corner.

Groats goalie Graeme Williamson saved one penalty and that proved to be enough to win the match. Groats' Kyle Ross won the man of the match award.
