Acks lost 2-1 to Staxigoe Utd at the Dammies last night in dramatic style. Free kick specialist Alan Larnach smacked a last minute free kick from 20 yards into the top left hand corner past stand in keeper Craig Trueman (who got finger tips to it).
Acks took the lead in first half through Murray Mackintosh, but Alan Larnach equalised by a free kick from an acute angle that deceived an injured Gordon Clark. Ref Johnny Munro had a busy night with plenty of end to end action and a few yellows being flashed.
