Highland Amateur cup final - Staxigoe Utd v Avoch (1-2)

Avoch beat Staxigoe Utd 2-1 in the final of the Highland Amateur cup final at Dudgeon Park, Brora, in front of a crowd of around 300. Man of the match Craig Stuart fired a wonder strike past Daniel Budge in first half. Gordy MacNab equalised with a penalty early in the 2nd half, but Shaun Kerr scored with a header late on, to win the game.  There were plenty of fouls and a flurry of yellow cards in a game which was constantly stopped for fouls and injuries.
