To mark the official opening of Caithness RFC's new clubhouse, the Greens played a friendly against a Highlands & Islands Select XV, made up of players from Highland, Orkney and Ross Sutherland. I caught the first half as I had to rush over to the Dammies to catch the Ness cup final between Thurso and Golspie.
The Greens scored 3 tries in the first half (Doug Webster, Stevie Campbell & Gordy MacLeod). Blair MacIntosh converted 2, to make the score 19-0. I think the final score was 38-7.
