Mod shinty

Caithness played Sutherland at shinty for the very first time, as part of the Mod.  It was also my very first shinty match.

A large crowd watched the home side win a thrilling match by 3-1.  The pitch was huge, around 150 yards long, so it was hard to get a good photo if play was at the other end.  Two first aiders were on hand for any accidents.
