I travelled up from Edinburgh today (21/4/12) and managed to catch the 2nd half of the SWL cup final between Halkirk Utd and Dingwall Thistle in Brora. I missed all the action as Halkirk had scored 4 goals and Dingwall had a man sent off - all before half time! Both teams were struggling for players and each had 3 trialists. The score stayed at 4-0 and there wasn't much goalmouth action to capture in the 2nd half.

It rained all the way up from Edinburgh to Tain and Brora was the only place where the sun shone on my trip up the A9 to Halkirk.
