Caithness vs Preston Lodge - National Shield Final

Caithness lost out in the National Shield Final at a very sunny Broadwood Stadium, Cumbernauld to Preston Lodge by 27 points to 6. Over 400 Caithness fans watched the match which saw Liam Brims kick the Greens 3 points into the lead after only 5 mins. However, the Prestonpans side were much stronger and faster and ran in a few tries in both halves. The Greens had two players sinned binned in the first half which didn't help the cause. Liam kicked another penalty to be the only scorer.

Kris Hamilton scored a try late on in the game, but it was disallowed for an infringement. The players received runners up medals for their season's efforts.
