The UK Pro Surf Tour staged the 2016 Thurso Surf Festival from 27-29 Oct at Thurso East and Sandside bay. The waves were excellent and the Scottish surfers had their best ever results:
Andrew Robertson, St Andrews - 3rd in U18s boys
Mark Boyd, Thurso - 4th in Open
Shoana Blackadder, Thurso - 4th in Ladies
Iona McLachlan, Thurso - 5th in Ladies
