Caithness blew away Carrick 57-12 at a sunny Millbank in front of a large noisy crowd. Captain Marc Anderson broke the club record for most points scored (over 1,000) and won the Caithness man of the match trophy after scoring a try and loads of conversions (and a penalty). There was a minutes silence for club stalwart Murray Mackay who sadly passed away a few days before. Coach Tom Magee presented a framed shirt to his family.
