Brora Rangers beat Thurso 7-1 last night in the North of Scotland Cup at Wick's Harmsworth Park. It was 2-1 at half time. Most of the Thurso players had played in the summer league decider the night before and tired in the second half.

In the 2nd minute Thurso's James Murray was clean through and his shot hit the Brora keeper.  Brora went 2-0 up, but Thurso then had the best of play and James Murray won and scored a penalty to make it 2-1.

Brora ran riot in the second half and in particular speedy winger Andrew Greig caused lots of problems.

Wick beat Clach 3-1 and now meet Brora in the semi-final on 18 or 19 Sept.
