In the SWPP awards for May, my surfing photo of Mark "Scratch" Cameron during the Scottish Surfing Championships at Thurso East, won a Gold award and now goes forward to the photographer of the year finals next January. The photo was featured in the Fraserburgh Herald in March (Mark's local paper).
This is the second surfing photo to win Gold for me this year. All Gold award pics are featured in the SWPP quarterly magazine "Professional Imagemaker".
I was awarded a Silver for the football pic of Halkirk Utd vs Bonar Bridge which was featured in the John O'Groat Journal in April.
