The first ever match on Halkirk's new football pitch, Morrison Park, was played tonight between Halkirk FC and Pentland Utd FC in a Caithness Division One league game. Pentland Utd won 4-0.

James Murray scored after 40 mins to record the first ever goal at the ground. Luckasz Geruzel scored two in the 2nd half and the 4th was an own goal. It was very dull and grey and it rained near the end of the match. The floodlights were not used.
